Welcome to Reybridge Eventing

Home to David Doel, International Event Rider, and trainer Maggie Doel BHSI.

More success for the youngsters in the last 10 days, with a 3rd and 4th at West Wilts BE100 for Christine Lees’ Ferro Point, and Tim and Alice Page’s Dunge’s Don Perignon, and a 1st at Bicton Arena BE100 for Jane and Ian James’ A Cooley Connection.  See our News story about their progress this season.

David Doel is an established event rider who competes his string of 15 horses from his yard in Wiltshire. His ultimate aim is to win gold medals and be part of senior teams representing Great Britain, and he hopes one day to compete at the 4* event in Kentucky.

Winner of  The Goldman Cup in 2014, with eleven significant wins, more than 15 further top five placings at all levels, and team Bronze at the European Young Rider Championships, David continues to prove his commitment and dedication to the sport.

His obvious talent has been recognised with his re-selection for the Team GB World Class Programme, which develops exceptional athletes with the potential to move onto the world stage. David represented Great Britain for two years running on Junior Teams, winning team gold and individual bronze in 2011, and for a further two years running in Europe as a Young Rider, culminating in team Silver at Jardy, Paris, in September 2013, and team Bronze at Vale Sabroso, Portugal, in 2014.

David was asked to ride the ‘guinea pig’ dressage test at Badminton this year – pictures and more on our News page.
